I think there are a lot of factors going to choosing a surgeon for any surgical procedure. For colon cancer, you want somebody who has got experience with colon cancer that can be a colorectal surgeon who is focused on colon cancer and could be a surgical oncologist who focuses on colorectal cancer. Both can either or both can have, can be very experienced with colon cancer which was somebody who does, that treats and operates on colon cancer on a regular basis and has had a reasonable amount of experience with colorectal cancer.
