What Are Some New Treatments For Colon Cancer?

Dr. Tomislav Dragovich discusses some new treatments for colorectal cancer. The FDA has recently approved two new drugs developed to treat the disease.

New advances in medicine are constantly being developed to treat cancer. Dr. Tomislave Dragovich discusses a couple new custom-tailored therapeutics in this video. In the last year there were two new drugs approved by the FDA for patients with advanced stage colon cancer. These new drugs are called regorafenib and aflibercept.

Board certified in medical oncology and hematology, Dr. Tomislav Dragovich specializes in treating cancers of the digestive tract.

He earned his doctorate from the University of Belgrade School of Medicine in Yugoslavia. Dr. Dragovich then went to the University of Chicago for his internship, residency and hematology/oncology fellowship.
